Live Stream your DAW through OBS! How-to guide - YouTube Please follow this guide for more details :
Once this is complete, I send the master mix out of Reaper to OBS via Reastream. Next, I use Reastream (32bit) to connect each musicians tracks to Reaper. But you won't be able to mix individual tracks. If you just bring a full mix back with Rearoute, you will be able to play with the band and send your audio to OBS (see next steps). You will get a bit of latency coming back from Jamkazam to Reaper unfortunately using Reastream. NOTE - The "sound technician" needs to be in the Jamkazam session but won't play. This brings back a full mix and is of no use for mixing.
Then, I am muting the track with ReaRoute that comes back from Jamkazam in Reaper. REAPER + Jam Kazam via ReaRoute - Cockos Incorporated Forums Please refer to the following post for more details : From there I use Rearoute to send my sound in Jamkazam (32bit). I connect my interface to a 32bit DAW (Reaper in my case).
Native controls like compressors are not easy to use. VST usage is limited and not super easy to setup. The app is a bit slow on my PC (don't know why). I have issues using the Jamkazam audio mixer for various reasons : My goal was to be able to mix a full band in a live setting (without me playing). You can have up to 8 stereo outputs from Maschine so you can process 8 separate groups/sounds on 8 Reaper tracks.I thought I would share my PC setup as I had to dig here and there to make it happen. Once you get this far there are other steps to enable more outputs. Just follow from above and the click the FX icon in the Reaper channel that Maschine is routed through and chose VST on the left then select the effect you want to use. Only you would add the effect as an insert on the channel in reaper that is receiving audio from Maschine. If you do need your play button then the setup is the same setup as above. If you don't need Maschines play button and tap tempo then don't use Rearoute. This ReaRoute thing with Maschine standalone is a workaround for that. When you use the Maschine VSTi plug-in you have to use your DAW's transport. The whole purpose of using the stand alone version of Maschine with ReaRoute is to have transport controls for Maschine. It sounds like you want to Route audio output from Maschine into Reaper and process the audio with VST effects. I mentioned because I want to be clear what you mean. VSTi is for VST instruments like synthisizers or Maschine.
